Compliance Portal

For RTO teams and the people who help them

Your RTO’s compliance documents, made step by step.

Build Training and Assessment Strategies, session plans, trainer files and governance records in your own templates. Every screen asks one plain question and explains the words, so you don’t need a compliance background to start.

Free for 14 days. No card needed to start.

How it works

Three steps for any document. The portal reads the national register (training.gov.au) for you, so you don’t copy and paste units by hand.

  1. 1

    Set up your college once

Type your RTO code. Your name, addresses and scope are read for you. Add your own Word template and logo, or use the built-in template.

  2. 2

Answer one question at a time

Each screen asks one thing, with a short “What to do here” list. Words like “packaging rules” are explained right where you see them.

  3. 3

    Check, then download

Before you download, the portal lists anything worth a look, each with a “Fix it” button. Then you get a Word file in your own template.

What you can make

Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS)

Your plan for delivering and assessing a qualification: the units, the hours and the reasons for them, who the learners are and where training happens.

Session plans

A plan for each unit, split into theory, practical training and practical simulation sessions, in your college’s own template.

Trainer files

Trainer and assessor resumes, industry currency letters, trainer matrices and professional development records.

Industry consultation

Consultation records and meeting minutes that show how industry shaped your training.

Governance declarations

Fit and proper person and conflict of interest declarations for the people who run the RTO.

Training timetables

Weekly schedules and term plans, including the 20 hours a week rule for international students.

Made for people new to compliance

  • Plain English. No jargon without an explanation next to it.
  • A help centre with “VET in 5 minutes”, a glossary and a walk-through of your first TAS.
  • Checks against the Standards for RTOs 2025, each telling you which rule it comes from and how to fix it.
  • Your own templates. Documents come out looking like the rest of your college’s paperwork.

Made for teams

  • One shared workspace for your college or consultancy. Everyone sees the same records.
  • Roles: owners and admins manage the team, editors make documents, viewers can look and download.
  • Review and sign-off, with a history of who did what.
  • Your data is yours. Download a full backup whenever you like.

Questions

I’m not a compliance expert. Can I really use this?

Yes, that is who it is built for. Every step explains what it is asking and why. The help centre’s 5-minute guide covers the words you will meet (RTO, TAS, unit, nominal hours…) before you start.

Does it replace professional compliance advice?

No. It helps you produce well-structured documents quickly and checks them against the Standards for RTOs 2025, but your RTO is still responsible for what it submits to ASQA. For high-stakes decisions, have an experienced compliance person review your documents.

Where does the qualification and unit information come from?

From training.gov.au, the national register, read live when you type a code. National nominal hours come from NCVER’s published file.

Can I bring my team?

Yes. Invite people from Settings and choose what each can do. There is no charge per person.

Where is my data kept?

With Cloudflare, an enterprise cloud provider. Each workspace’s documents are kept separate and only its members can see them. See the privacy policy.

Ready to make your first document?

It takes about two minutes to set up your workspace.
